| Crossheads for Special applications The IT-Series of Crossheads, a special dual layer head design with an additional extrusion tool (intermediate tool - 2IT) between standard type wire guide and die, for a separated extrusion of two identical or different materials in one head, like bedding plus sheating compound, are available for dual extrusion with fixed centering or manual adjustment and for additional co-extrusion of stripe(s) or skin. The Standard and Vario Series of Crossheads featuring short and compact fixed center designs with cartridges with heart curve and hole distribution. | Crossheads for Fluoro-Polymers are available for single layer extrusion, skin co-extrusion and stripe co-extrusion. To create the optimum solution for every application different centering-designs with fixed centering or manual centering as well as compact head-designs, made from one solid block or modular head-designs, with a separation between the basic head and front head. All Fluoro-polymer heads are made of UNALLOY™, a fluoro resistant, hardened, low wear material. The distribution cartridges are designed as per the free flow principle, without holes and slots. |
