| The use of a Head- or Product Changing Device is advisable whenever the product in an extrusion or co-extrusion line has to be changed frequently. UNITEK therefore offers two solutions for quick changes of crossheads. Both serve the task to minimise the product-change-related down times and offer the possibility to simultaneously dismantle, clean and equip one head with new dies and program inserts or cartridges, while the line is started with the second head. |
